October 20th 1940
Me and a little bit of the crew headed ashore to the Asdic base where we practiced a new attack procedure. We also did numerous attacks on subs. That wraps up my daily post, goodnight.
December 2 1942
Ice has been making it's way onto the ship. So we have just been hacking it off all day, just giant chunks. Knocking ice off has turned to a full-time thing. But this will be the last time i write to you for i may not come back. Sincerely Frank Curry
