October 20th 1940
Me and a little bit of the crew headed ashore to the Asdic base where we practiced a new attack procedure. We also did numerous attacks on subs. That wraps up my daily post, goodnight.
October 19th 1940
Hey uncle Bob we were just doing a regular Sunday routine on board. The Navy Chaplain held a church service. After this we stayed on board the rest of the day reading and writing letters.
